As the accrediting body for coach-specific education and accredited providers, we cannot recommend any specific coaching education organizations.

To ensure quality education, ICF accredits coaching education organizations that meet the high standards set forth by ICF and ICF Coaching Education. Organization Description:	Founded in 2016, Synthesis Coaching Associates (SCA) provides Life Coach training, advanced specialization programs, and thematic webinars focusing on personal growth and leadership. All programs are delivered in an innovative on-line, on-demand format designed to maximize the learning experience for an international audience while eliminating the environmental impact associated with travel and in-person sessions. To do this we use a combination of the latest distance learning tools, enriched by the collaboration of highly qualified international instructors and mentors presenting the only Life Coach training curriculum that integrates the transformational tools and methodologies of Psychosynthesis, a transpersonal psychology, and holistic approaches combining Eastern and Western philosophies with the highly effective coaching structure of the ICF Core Competencies.
Program Description:	SCA’s 60-hour Psychosynthesis Life Coach training program “The Transformational Process of Self-Leadership” is structured in 2 tracks tailored to meet the needs of those entering the coaching profession as well as seasoned coaches seeking truly transformational and effective tools and methods. The PLC Practitioner program introduces you to the principles, tools, and methodologies of Psychosynthesis as applied to coaching, providing a solid grounding in the ICF Core Competencies while integrating the transformational techniques which lead to Self-Leadership in the coaching process. Entirely on-demand, you’ll start the program when you want, continuing at your own pace. There are no set start dates, and you’ll join a group who are at various stages in their training, experiencing a dynamic and stimulating learning environment. The PLC Practitioner program consists of 60 hours of online, live session work, a minimum of 15 hours of peer coaching, and 5 hours of observed coaching practice. All this is supported by an extensive library of online resources including readings, exercise references, and on-demand videos providing additional perspective on your training. You’ll receive certification as a PLC Practitioner and you’ll be fully and confidently prepared for a coaching career. The ICF Level 1-accredited PLC Practitioner program adds 5 hours of coaching supervision, the 10 hours of Mentor Coaching required for ICF ACC credentialing, and certification to ICF performance assessment criteria to the Practitioner syllabus. Coaching supervision is not yet an ICF requirement, but we feel it is an essential part of coach training as your coaching takes you into situations that may involve transfer/countertransfer. When you finish this program you’ll be soidly grounded for a career in coaching and you’ll have all the training and certification prerequisites you’ll need to enter the updated ACC credential path once you meet the coaching hours requirements.
