The International Coaching Federation (ICF) does not offer initial education and training to become a coach (we only offer professional development for practiced coaches). As the accrediting body for coach-specific education and accredited providers, we cannot recommend any specific coaching education organizations.
To ensure quality education, ICF accredits coaching education organizations that meet the high standards set forth by ICF and ICF Coaching Education. To find ICF-Accredited Providers we suggest that you use our Education Search Service (ESS) below. The search for a coach education program is a highly individual process that depends greatly on your personal preferences and goals. The ESS is designed to give you basic information about all ICF-Accredited Education Providers.

The John Mattone Intelligent Leadership (IL) Coaching Process™, coupled with IL assessments and surveys, allow you to create experiences with your coachee that are “inflection points” to disrupt their current patterns of thinking and their comfort zones. These serve as a catalyst for their increased awareness and opportunity for change. LeaderWatch™ (LW), the abbreviated 360-degree survey, is the key to unlocking successful change and capturing the value and ROI of the leader’s coaching journey.

LW measures the leader’s progress at regular intervals throughout their coaching journey. However, the greatest value of LeaderWatch™ goes far beyond measuring change in targeted behaviors. In order to leverage the robust nature of the IL journey, the coach must be intentional in their conversations with their coachees to:

2) Through training, discussion, and exercises specifically designed to teach elements of the LeaderWatch™ process, coaches: a) Become prepared to position LW as a multi-rater feedback tool that supports their coachee’s growth and development.
b) Learn how to leverage the power of LW as an iterative process throughout the entire IL journey.
c) Learn how to leverage LeaderWatch™ with the long-term goals of their coachee as he / she evaluates modifications to their stakeholder pool to align with next step career aspirations.
d) Learn how to leverage the LW process to support their coachees building and expanding their network for success within their organization.
e) Learn how to guide their coachee to recognize the quantifiable return on investment the growth of the leader provides in support of their goals for success and the goals of the organization for success.
