The ESS is a free, searchable directory of coaching education that is accredited by ICF. ICF-accredited education has gone through a rigorous review process and demonstrated that its curriculum aligns with the ICF definition of coaching, Core Competencies and Code of Ethics. Level One, Level Two, and Level Three offerings deliver foundational coach-specific education and training. Continuing Coach Education (CCE) offerings provide advanced and supplemental learning opportunities for trained and credentialed coach practitioners.

As the accrediting body for coach-specific education and accredited providers, we cannot recommend any specific coaching education organizations.

Program Description: The Evolutionary Coaching Programme (Level 1) is an ICF-accredited coach training programme that integrates core coaching competencies with a deeper, transformational approach to human development. It is designed for individuals who feel called to expand their personal and professional capabilities, create more meaning in their lives, or begin a career in coaching. The programme develops essential coaching skills such as active listening, powerful questioning, creating awareness, and building trust, while introducing the Evolutionary Coaching Approach — a methodology that supports clients beyond problem-solving and into meaningful, sustainable growth. At its core, the Evolutionary Coaching Approach is based on the belief that individuals are inherently creative, resourceful, and capable of shaping their own reality. Coaches are trained to work with the whole person — mind, emotion, values, and deeper purpose — enabling clients to access greater clarity, responsibility, and alignment in how they live and lead. Participants learn how to support clients in exploring beliefs, patterns, and perspectives, and in making conscious choices that lead to long-term development rather than short-term fixes. The approach emphasises awareness, ownership, and contribution, helping clients move from reacting to circumstances toward actively creating their desired future. Grounded in the ICF Core Competencies and Code of Ethics, the programme combines structured learning, experiential practice, mentor coaching, and reflective development. It creates a space where participants not only learn coaching skills, but embody coaching as a way of being. As part of the learning journey, participants also gain access to Leelou AI Coach, an innovative AI-powered coaching platform that enables continuous practice, reflection, and skill integration between sessions. This supports the transition from learning to real-world application and accelerates coaching confidence and capability. By the end of the programme, participants are able to: * Demonstrate coaching competencies in alignment with ICF standards, including active listening, powerful questioning, and facilitating client awareness * Establish clear coaching agreements and build trust-based coaching relationships that support psychological safety and openness * Support clients in exploring beliefs, assumptions, and behavioural patterns that influence their decisions and actions * Facilitate deeper levels of awareness that enable clients to take responsibility and make conscious, values-aligned choices * Apply an evolutionary coaching perspective to support clients in navigating change, complexity, and personal or professional transitions * Integrate coaching skills into leadership, organisational, or personal contexts with confidence and impact * Begin developing a professional coaching practice or enhance their current role through a coaching mindset and approach * Use digital and AI-supported coaching tools, including Leelou, to reinforce learning, reflection, and continuous development
