The ESS is a free, searchable directory of coaching education that is accredited by ICF. ICF-accredited education has gone through a rigorous review process and demonstrated that its curriculum aligns with the ICF definition of coaching, Core Competencies and Code of Ethics. Level One,
Level Two, and Level Three offerings deliver foundational coach-specific education and training. Continuing Coach Education (CCE) offerings provide advanced and supplemental learning opportunities for trained and credentialed coach practitioners.
As the accrediting body for coach-specific education and accredited providers, we cannot recommend any specific coaching education organizations.

The Foundations of Coaching program by Bossert Academy is a comprehensive six-month training designed to equip participants with essential coaching skills such as intuition, empathy, and emotional intelligence. Over the course of 60 hours, participants will engage in a transformative learning experience that not only teaches professional coaching techniques but also emphasizes personal growth and self-discovery. A key component of the program is the introduction to the International Coach Federation (ICF) 8 core competencies. These competencies ensure that participants develop a deep respect for coachees, adopt a non-judgmental attitude, and effectively support personal and professional growth. Graduates earn a globally recognized diploma, preparing them for a career in coaching or leadership roles where these skills are essential. |
