Education Search Service (ESS)
The ESS is a free, searchable directory of coaching education that is accredited by ICF. ICF-accredited education has gone through a rigorous review process and demonstrated that its curriculum aligns with the ICF definition of coaching, Core Competencies and Code of Ethics. Level One,
Level Two, and Level Three offerings deliver foundational coach-specific education and training. Continuing Coach Education (CCE) offerings provide advanced and supplemental learning opportunities for trained and credentialed coach practitioners.
As the accrediting body for coach-specific education and accredited providers, we cannot recommend any specific coaching education organizations.
To find ICF-Accredited Providers that meet your individual needs, we suggest that you use our Education Search Service (ESS) below. The search for a coach education program is a highly individual process that depends greatly on your personal preferences and goals. The ESS is designed to give you basic information about all ICF-Accredited Education Providers.

Description: |
Marshal Goldsmith: Stakeholder Centered Coaching® is a TRUSTED leadership and executive coaching BRAND. In 2019 Stakeholder Centered Coaching® was named the number one coach development process in the world by Global Gurus. Our unique coaching process is focused on the active engagement of stakeholders throughout the process and the use of mini surveys to measure the progress as seen by stakeholders. This tried and tested coaching approach has been used by more than a million leaders around the world mainly at Fortune1000 companies. The efficacy of the coaching approach is very high as 95% of leaders using this coaching methodology measurably improve their effectiveness in the eyes of their coworkers and stakeholders. The Stakeholder Centered Coaching® PROCESS is known for its clear and agile design that measures the change in leadership effectiveness over the length of the coaching engagement. Our systems approach creates measurable results which is exactly what clients are looking for. The involvement of coworkers (key stakeholders) assures a very customized, culturally sensitive and 'application on the job’ that is focused on behavioral change. Our approach is effective and time efficient and measurable. Our mini surveys measure and document the change is leadership as perceived by key stakeholders. Involving key stakeholders in the leadership growth process creates a 'real time on the job' coaching process that encourages leadership change for the leader and their team. This makes it all very real and effective as well as measurable. Our unique mini survey process measures the change made by the leader based on the perception of the leader’s chosen stakeholders. Many of our top coaches guarantee positive results based on our 'No Growth, No Pay' approach pioneered by Marshall Goldsmith himself. This approach transforms the relation between the coach, the leader and the organization as it aligns all parties into a strong partnership to getting positive change that is documented and measurable. This has worked great for our clients as well as for our coaches. Our open information sharing approach to our network of coaches (Find a Coach), creates an easy access for clients to find coaches to talk with about our methodology and how this might lead to results they are looking for through coaching. As part of the certification program we share insights into successfully selling coaching engagements. Our sales approach describes how to deliver on client’s NEEDs while working with prospects and clients, deeply understanding their needs and linking such clearly to the coaching process and measurable outcomes is crucial to get buy-in from clients' decision makers and the leaders themselves.

| Program Description: |
Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder Centered Coaching® Certification Workshop is powerful executive coaching process to help you maximize your coaching potential. The same process is taught and practiced using three different formats. These are: 2 full day onsite, face-to-face training; 4 online half-day trainings spaced a few days apart for the opportunity to apply the concepts; and, a self-paced eLearning guided approach.
Participants are sent pre-work prior to starting their certification. This includes a pdf copy of The Coach’s Playbook along with required video to watch that introduces them to the methodology. During the certification the participants follow the flow of using Stakeholder Centered Coaching® engagement by being put into skill practice trios dealing with difficult situations that may occur during the coaching. In this trio practice: one person plays the role of the Stakeholder Centered Coach and is given instructions on the situation requiring coaching; a second person plays the role of the leader being coached and is provided a script to follow to ensure all the coaches face the same challenges; and, the third person plays the role of observer/real-time coach. The practice sessions run 5 – 7 minutes and are then debriefed by the trio. Based on the debrief the coach deals with the same leader to try out suggestions learned during the debrief. This second practice is also debriefed before the whole group reconvenes to discuss the learning that came out of the practice. The trio stays together over three skill practice sessions where each participant will have an opportunity to place each of the three roles. After the training, a coach will conduct a six-month engagement to apply the methodology with a leader. During the coaching the new coach will have a mentor from our network of certified Stakeholder Centered Coaches to provide guidance and support. At the conclusion of the six months of coaching an anonymous Mini-Survey with the Stakeholders will measure the degree to which the leader improved. |
