Systemic Coaching for Executive Teams is a 30.0-hour asynchronous Continuing Coach Education program for credentialed and pre-credential coaches who coach — or want to coach — leadership and executive teams as systems, and who want a disciplined, ICF-clean way to read why a specific executive team collides the way it does and to work that collision with systemic method. It is the sixth program in Tandem Coaching's Practitioner Series, built on top of Tandem Coaching Academy's ICF-accredited Level 1 and Level 2 programs. The program includes the 3 mandatory ethics hours required for ICF credential renewal.

The course is organized around a single identity shift: from coaching the people in the room to coaching the system in the room. Its spine is four moves the coach makes with a team-as-client — See the System, Read the Collision, Work the Field, and Metabolize-Don't-Resolve — held together by a running coach-development thread, Mind Your Own Formation. The governing principle is that a coach metabolizes a formation collision rather than resolving it: friction between two professional formations is the mechanism by which a leadership team reaches perspectives no single formation could generate, and the coach's job is to help the team hold that friction, not to make it go away. The course fuses the systemic methods Cherie Silas, MCC teaches at the ICF Level 2 and ACTC level — systemic constellations, Lewis Deep Democracy and Perspectives, system roles, and reframing — with a professional-formation diagnostic (the IMPRINT model) that arms those methods with a read on why a particular CFO and a particular CMO collide the way they do.

The program delivers 80 short videos organized into 14 modules (M0–M13) and a set of downloadable working resources (the Four Moves one-pager, the IMPRINT one-page lens, the seven-formations sketch cards, the listening-for-formation practice set, the collision-anatomy worksheet, the four high-impact collisions card set, the collision map, the center-of-gravity mapping worksheet, the Kantor-to-formation map, the four constellation-methods comparison card, the Deep Democracy five-step facilitation card, the resistance-line reference, the stakeholder-web map, the designed-team-alliance worksheet, the confidentiality-lattice multi-party agreement, the boundary-litmus-test card and referral guide, the coach-bias supervision prompts, and the Executive-System Map template). Verification of learning is two-part: a scenario-response Scope & Ethics Quiz (≥80% pass threshold, three attempts) covering three CC-anchored domains — Scope & Boundary (CC 1), Multi-Party Ethics (CC 1, CC 3), and Reading the System (CC 6, CC 7) — and a capstone deliverable, the Executive-System Map (a Relationship-System Map + a metabolize-not-resolve Intervention Plan + a Formation-Collision Reflection) submitted for instructor review (Satisfactory / Revise; one revision permitted).

The program is led by Cherie Silas, MCC, sole instructor of record, an ICF Master Certified Coach with the Advanced Certification in Team Coaching (ACTC) and documented teaching history at the ACC, PCC, and MCC credential levels across Tandem Coaching Academy's ICF-accredited Level 1 and Level 2 programs. She authored the program design, developed the Coaching the Collision framework, narrates the lessons, authored the verification-quiz item bank, and personally reviews every Executive-System Map submission.
