The ESS is a free, searchable directory of coaching education that is accredited by ICF. ICF-accredited education has gone through a rigorous review process and demonstrated that its curriculum aligns with the ICF definition of coaching, Core Competencies and Code of Ethics. Level One,
Level Two, and Level Three offerings deliver foundational coach-specific education and training. Continuing Coach Education (CCE) offerings provide advanced and supplemental learning opportunities for trained and credentialed coach practitioners.
As the accrediting body for coach-specific education and accredited providers, we cannot recommend any specific coaching education organizations.

Tandem Coaching Academy provides virtual ICF-accredited coach education for new and credentialed coaches, team coaches, mentor coaches, and coaching supervisors. Programs include Level 1, Level 2, AATC, AAMC, AACS, and approved CCE. ICF-credentialed faculty, including MCCs and PCCs, teach through live instruction, independent study, deliberate practice, observation and feedback, mentor coaching, supervision, performance evaluation, and practical application. |
| Program Description: |
Coaching Supervision Mastery is a 16-week cohort program (~72 contact hours: 46 synchronous,
~26 asynchronous; ~86% coaching supervision-specific Core Competency education) that prepares
experienced ICF-credentialed coaches (PCC/MCC) to practice as coaching supervisors. Built on
the 8 ICF Coaching Supervision Competencies (2024) as its curriculum spine, the program
combines an asynchronous competency curriculum (8 modules, 45 videos) with 16 weekly 2-hour
live classes in which each named supervision technique is taught, demonstrated by faculty,
and immediately practiced in observed supervision sessions — plus 14 hours of student-led
fieldwork in stable trios and rotating partnerships. Each participant completes a minimum of
5 observed supervision sessions (written competency-informed feedback on at least 3),
experiences supervision as a client throughout the fieldwork, receives 6 hours of
supervision-on-supervision (two instructor-led whole-class sessions plus dedicated partner
fieldwork), and evidences learning through a structured reflective learning journal and a
self-designed capstone supervision technique presented to the cohort. All supervision-specific
education is delivered by Cherie Silas, MCC, EMCC Accredited Coaching Supervisor (ESIA).
