Education Search Service (ESS)
The ESS is a free, searchable directory of coaching education that is accredited by ICF. ICF-accredited education has gone through a rigorous review process and demonstrated that its curriculum aligns with the ICF definition of coaching, Core Competencies and Code of Ethics. Level One,
Level Two, and Level Three offerings deliver foundational coach-specific education and training. Continuing Coach Education (CCE) offerings provide advanced and supplemental learning opportunities for trained and credentialed coach practitioners.
As the accrediting body for coach-specific education and accredited providers, we cannot recommend any specific coaching education organizations.
To find ICF-Accredited Providers that meet your individual needs, we suggest that you use our Education Search Service (ESS) below. The search for a coach education program is a highly individual process that depends greatly on your personal preferences and goals. The ESS is designed to give you basic information about all ICF-Accredited Education Providers.

| Program Description: |
This 5-day course offers a structured and experiential introduction to the coaching approach, tailored for professionals who lead, support, or collaborate within organizations. Through interactive sessions, in-depth study of ICF Core Competencies (presence, active listening, powerful-questioning, evoke awareness, ethical practice and many others) and guided self-study, participants will explore the four key steps of a coaching conversation: establishing a shared vision, identifying solutions, defining concrete actions, and fostering transformation. Each step is grounded in ICF Core Competencies and is designed to strengthen active listening, powerful questioning, emotional awareness, and the ability to build trust and accountability. Special attention is given to applying coaching principles in team settings, with a focus on ethical practice and co-creating effective working relationships. By the end of the course, participants will have developed a solid coaching mindset and a practical toolkit to support growth, engagement, and collaboration in their professional environment. |
