The ESS is a free, searchable directory of coaching education that is accredited by ICF. ICF-accredited education has gone through a rigorous review process and demonstrated that its curriculum aligns with the ICF definition of coaching, Core Competencies and Code of Ethics. Level One,
Level Two, and Level Three offerings deliver foundational coach-specific education and training. Continuing Coach Education (CCE) offerings provide advanced and supplemental learning opportunities for trained and credentialed coach practitioners.
As the accrediting body for coach-specific education and accredited providers, we cannot recommend any specific coaching education organizations.

Description: |
Language Coaching Academy is based in Prague, the Czech Republic. It offers courses for teachers, polyglots, and language school leaders, providing training in coaching skills as well as systemic and technological innovations for language learning projects with clients. The Academy's trainers include polyglots, ICF-certified coaches and coach-mentors, supervisors, and masters of transformational games. Graduates of the Language Coaching Academy incorporate coaching into their existing work formats and also guide clients through comprehensive projects to achieve their language goals. The primary tool in such projects is the coaching method, complemented by a system of proprietary developments from the Academy. The programs are conducted in English and Russian.

| Program Description: |
The program equips educators with coaching methodology, the 8 ICF coaching competencies, to help learners deeply explore their goals and develop personalized, effective pathways for acquiring languages and other complex skills. Alongside intensive coaching practice, the curriculum incorporates project-management elements, psychological approaches, and technology-driven learning accelerators from AI, polyglots, and mnemonic specialists.
The program integrates these methods into a holistic, sustainable learning solution for educators and learners, fully aligned with the ICF Code of Ethics and professional standards.
Throughout the training, educators learn to establish agreements with clients, maintain full coaching presence, apply deep active listening, evoke learners’ awareness, and facilitate client growth by transforming insights into meaningful action steps. Graduates — language coaches — are able to conduct the full coaching process and integrate coaching competencies into teaching or hybrid learning formats to enhance engagement and learner autonomy.
Participants gain extensive hands-on experience through demo sessions, supervised practice with language learners, structured opportunities to accumulate coaching hours, mentoring, and supervision.
The curriculum also provides practical tools for building a sustainable coaching practice, including business models, client-attraction approaches, and financial growth strategies for educators. |
