The ESS is a free, searchable directory of coaching education that is accredited by ICF. ICF-accredited education has gone through a rigorous review process and demonstrated that its curriculum aligns with the ICF definition of coaching, Core Competencies and Code of Ethics. Level One,
Level Two, and Level Three offerings deliver foundational coach-specific education and training. Continuing Coach Education (CCE) offerings provide advanced and supplemental learning opportunities for trained and credentialed coach practitioners.
As the accrediting body for coach-specific education and accredited providers, we cannot recommend any specific coaching education organizations.

LEVEL 2 Coach Professional Program is aimed at those who study coaching for their professional area and personal life improvement.
Faculty delivering the Program, are PCC and MCC-credentialed coaches.
The Program consists of 113 synchronous and 86 asynchronuous hours, provided 80% (162 h) are devoted to ICF Core Competences education and 40 hours – other developing methods.
All in all the Program includes 6 Modules, from which:
Module 1 deals with introduction to coaching, ICF Core Competences and Code of Ethics, coaching fundamentals, philosophy and principles, setting goals, T-Model, GROW- model, coach position, basic coaching session outline; Module 2 deals with reality analysis, including analysis of obstacles and limiting believes, it introduces the Inner Game concept, position of perception, the technique of problem-into-solution transfer, covers complex situations which coaches face in the sessions;Module 3 is dedicated to the search for opportunities and resources to achieve goals and personal integration. It introduces ways of enhancing creative potential, methods of lateral thinking. It gives technologies for broadening client’s perspectives and discovering new opportunities for action, it activates team potential and motivation, coordination and unification of employees-vs-company goals; Module 4 deals with decision-making, work on emotional states and values, growth into prioritizing, planning, action and time management. In includes education on the questions at the Will stage, research of strong sides of the client. It makes participants acquainted with «Enabling Genius» concept by M. Downey and R. Dilts’ Logical Levels Pyramid; Module 5 deals with specialization in coaching (e.g. Executive and Career) and introduces coaching as a tool for personal and organizational changes, employee involvement increase, team diagnostics and creating team values, coaching system in organization. It also includes work with Metaphor in coaching; Module 6 is devoted to the path to mastery. It broadens and deepens the ICF CCs and Code of Ethics, coach mindset awareness, improves coach session execution skills for further productive practice and the ICF credentialing. It is focused on the practical experience optimization, further developing the skills, enabling participants to get prepared for the ICF certification exam, to see perspectives of coaching practice.
The Program uses the following education technology: presentations delivered by instructors, students’ course books/workbooks – handout materials, instructor-led group discussions, interactive exercises, supervision sessions, demo, mentoring, observed sessions - all with feedback, triads with Instructor-assistant, video materials, peer-to-peer practice, webinars, common e-resource with all materials. |
