Education Search Service (ESS)

The ESS is a free, searchable directory of coaching education that is accredited by ICF. ICF-accredited education has gone through a rigorous review process and demonstrated that its curriculum aligns with the ICF definition of coaching, Core Competencies and Code of Ethics. Level One, Level Two, and Level Three offerings deliver foundational coach-specific education and training. Continuing Coach Education (CCE) offerings provide advanced and supplemental learning opportunities for trained and credentialed coach practitioners.

As the accrediting body for coach-specific education and accredited providers, we cannot recommend any specific coaching education organizations.

To find ICF-Accredited Providers that meet your individual needs, we suggest that you use our Education Search Service (ESS) below. The search for a coach education program is a highly individual process that depends greatly on your personal preferences and goals. The ESS is designed to give you basic information about all ICF-Accredited Education Providers.

Organization Description:
Lyssa deHart, LICSW, MCC, BCC, is the author of StoryJacking: Change Your Dialogue, Transform Your Life and the Reflective Coach. Lyssa is a Confidence Coach, Certified Mentor Coach, Coaching Super-Vision Partner, ICF PCC Assessor, and coach educator. Using her understanding of the ICF Core Competencies, combined with her knowledge of Neuroscience, Lyssa works with Professional Coaches to expand their capacity to partner with the clients through how they show up and hold the space for those with whom they work.
Program Description: Group Mentor Coaching is designed to support and enhance your coaching skills as you prepare for your ACC or to renew your ACC, PCC, or MCC application. By participating, you can earn up to 7 group mentor coaching hours and 26 ICF CCEs.
As a professional coach, it's crucial to demonstrate your coaching abilities and distinguish them from counseling, consulting, or teaching. The ACC, PCC, and MCC credentials require you to embody the competencies and elevate your capacity to truly partner with your clients. These credentials are evidence of your development in establishing a strong partnership.
In this program, my focus is on deepening your ability to integrate the competencies into your coaching conversations. It's not about following a checklist of questions but rather about weaving the competencies seamlessly to empower your clients. I believe that each client possesses inner wisdom and is whole, capable, resourceful, and creative.
Adhering to the ICF Core Coaching Competencies (CCs) provides a robust framework for maintaining the coaching role. This framework is based on scientific research, particularly the neuroscience of the change process. Masterfully incorporating the competencies into your coaching conversations is an art that we will develop together.
Our group mentor coaching and coach development program caters to all levels of experience. Over the course of 4 months, we will have 7 sessions that explore the updated core competencies and shifts in coaching. This will support you in coaching with confidence, regardless of the level you are working towards.
To facilitate learning and development, we will have out-of-class dyads for practice and recording sessions for transcript analysis. In-class demonstrations will also be conducted. You will have the opportunity to develop your inner coach through transcript analysis, honing your coaching mastery. Additionally, there will be ample opportunities for practice to reinforce your skills.
Join me in this enriching program and enhance your coaching abilities while preparing for your desired credential level.
