Education Search Service (ESS)
The ESS is a free, searchable directory of coaching education that is accredited by ICF. ICF-accredited education has gone through a rigorous review process and demonstrated that its curriculum aligns with the ICF definition of coaching, Core Competencies and Code of Ethics. Level One,
Level Two, and Level Three offerings deliver foundational coach-specific education and training. Continuing Coach Education (CCE) offerings provide advanced and supplemental learning opportunities for trained and credentialed coach practitioners.
As the accrediting body for coach-specific education and accredited providers, we cannot recommend any specific coaching education organizations.

The search for a coach education program is a highly individual process that depends greatly on your personal preferences and goals. Coaching with the Power of Metaphors is an 8-session Certification Program that enhances your coaching abilities by utilizing metaphors. You'll develop the skill to recognize and leverage your clients ' metaphors through coaching demonstrations, live practice, analysis of transcripts, and journaling. This program explores the neuroscience of metaphors, integrates them into the ICF Core Competencies, and teaches you to create trust, engagement, and sustainable shifts in your coaching engagements. Upon completion, you become a Certified Power of Metaphor Practitioner & Coach, with the option for free audits thereafter. |
