Program Description:	The Coaching Intensive Practicum is an interactive online course for coaches and wellness professionals who are ready to take their education and skills to the next level. Over 12 weeks, students progress through a mix of 10 modules of pre-recorded content, 22 live learning group sessions, and 3 instructor-facilitated buddy coaching practice sessions to learn and apply best practices for supporting clients in a coaching relationship. Readings, skill building activities, self-assessment quizzes, bonus libraries, and a private Facebook group moderated by course faculty are provided to support learning every step of the way. Students in this course learn key coaching competencies and proven skills and strategies for supporting clients, including Motivational Interviewing, navigating the stages of change, and masterfully using communication skills, such as mirroring, reflecting, and powerful questioning. Scope of practice, ethical and legal guidelines, and cultural competency considerations are also explored. The Coaching Intensive Practicum is a fully-approved NBHWC training program and delivers the educational requirements for those seeking to become board certified through the NBC-HWC credential.
