For mentor coaching services provided before January 1, 2027:

You may work with a mentor coach who holds an active credential at or above the credential level you wish to apply for or renew. Note: ACC credentialed mentor coaches must renew their credential at least once prior to providing mentoring. You may also work with a mentor coach who holds a Mentor Coach Specialization (MCS) at the level you desire to receive mentoring.

While you are not required to use this registry when selecting a mentor coach, those listed in this registry have agreed to follow the ICF definition of mentor coaching, best practices for mentor coaches, and in many cases have completed advanced training that has prepared them to provide high-quality mentoring services.

For mentor coaching services to be provided on or after January 1, 2027:

Beginning January 1, 2027, mentor coaching sessions must be completed with a coach who holds a Mentor Coach Specialization (MCS) at the credential level you wish to apply or renew. Note: Mentor coaching services provided at the PCC level by a MCS-PCC level may be used to apply for or renew an ACC credential.
